Transfiere 2021

The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and Fundación General CSIC (FGCSIC) jointly attended the 10th edition of Transfiere, the European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation, which took place the 14th and 15th of April in Malaga.

Fundación General CSIC’s Managing Director, Ramón Torrecillas; the CSIC’s Vice-President for Research and Science and Technology, Jesús Marco; and the CSIC’s Deputy Vice-President for Knowledge Transfer, Ana Castro, visited the stand shared by both organisations and took part in the different activities proposed in the forum’s programme.

Transfiere 2021 has offered a programme of contents aligned with the Spanish Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation and the State R&D&I Plan by 200 experts. Research and innovation in the fight against the coronavirus and the tools needed to access and take advantage of the new Next Generation programme, within the European Horizon 2021-2027, were the main topics this year. In addition, opportunities for collaboration in public procurement of innovation, the development of university policies and the role of the OTRI, among other topics, were analysed.

Transfiere is considered one of the main instruments in Spain to promote innovation and knowledge transfer between research groups and companies.
