Two new editions of the Good Scientific Practices Course

Fundación General CSIC, committed to scientific integrity and responsible research, in collaboration with Banco Santander, is launching the 10th and 11th editions of the Course on Good Scientific Practice, a training activity aimed at young scientists (PhD students), which is an essential component of their preparation and professional development.

Within the framework of the fundamentals of scientific integrity that guarantee an ethical development of research, these courses deal with the complex current scientific system, the obligations of the researcher, as well as their relations with other members and elements of the scientific and social network. They provide participants with basic references on essential facets of the research process, such as project development, research execution, data collection and processing, protection and communication of results, dissemination activities and research evaluation.

The 10th edition of the Course on Good Scientific Practices will take place between 7th March and 7th April, and the 11th edition between 25th April and 26th May. Each of them will last 28 hours and will be structured in 11 didactic modules taught “online” and synchronously through the Zoom platform.

The registration period will be open from 7th to 20th February 2022.
