In conjunction with the Fundación General CSIC, the National particle physics, astroparticles and nuclear physics centre, CPAN (Centro Nacional de Física de Partículas, Astropartículas y Nuclear), is running its first science communication competition (Consolider-Ingenio 2010 project).
The competition is open to researchers at public and private research organisations, doctoral students and undergraduates, secondary school teachers and professional science communicators. Submissions are to be on the subject of the purpose of research into nuclear, particle and astroparticle physics, its findings and the technological developments it has led to. Both individual and group submissions are welcome, and competitors can opt for one or more forms of submission.
The closing date is 30 November 2010. To take part it is first necessary to register on the organisers’ website: www.i-cpan.es.
