{"id":5158,"date":"2022-10-05T16:06:59","date_gmt":"2022-10-05T16:06:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sandbox.fgcsic.es\/?p=5158"},"modified":"2023-03-21T16:10:40","modified_gmt":"2023-03-21T16:10:40","slug":"the-geological-and-mining-institute-of-spain-hosts-a-research-business-meeting-on-the-ecological-transition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fgcsic.es\/en\/the-geological-and-mining-institute-of-spain-hosts-a-research-business-meeting-on-the-ecological-transition\/","title":{"rendered":"The Geological and Mining Institute of Spain hosts a research-business meeting on the ecological transition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today, October 5th 2022, <strong>the Spanish Geological and Mining Institute (IGME)<\/strong> hosted a meeting between the centre&#8217;s researchers and leading companies interested in learning about the scientific activity generated there. <strong>Fundaci\u00f3n General CSIC (FGCSIC),<\/strong> with the collaboration of CEIM Confederaci\u00f3n Empresarial de Madrid-CEOE, the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas (CSIC) and the IGME itself, organised this meeting with the aim of fostering <strong>future collaborations between the productive sector and the science developed around the ecological transition<\/strong>, specifically in the field of <strong>Critical Minerals, Sustainable Development, Global Change and Geoenergy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The institutional part of the conference was addressed by <strong>Ana Mar\u00eda Alonso Zarza<\/strong> (Director of IGME), <strong>Marina Villegas<\/strong> (CSIC&#8217;s Institutional Delegate in Madrid) and <strong>Jorge Cabero Zumalac\u00e1rregui<\/strong> (Director of Innovation at FGCSIC), who highlighted the convergence of interests of all those attending in the field of innovation.
